DO I QUALIFY FOR GOVERNMENT FUNDING?

An added benefit of going electric is that there is government funding available to help with the costs of your home charge point.

The government has recognised that one of the major factors when encouraging people to use electric vehicles is to provide practical and monetary support to fund the infrastructure to charge at home. So the Office for Low Emission Vehicles has rolled out the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme which supports the upfront costs of the equipment and installation of your car charging point at home.

You can claim up to 75% of the cost of one charge point up to a maximum of £500 (inc. VAT) per household/eligible vehicle.
